About: The Skin@Bath Skin & Synovium Network Symposium fosters interdisciplinary collaborations for innovative projects in skin photoprotection as well as skin-related drug design, delivery, and therapy of chronic inflammatory skin disorders and skin cancer both at national and international levels. Networking through this symposium will attract unprecedented collaborations to apply for ground-breaking program grants and strategic global funding programs in partnership with the pharmaceutical industry to tackle the unmet needs of individuals/patients.
This year’s conference provides an exceptional programme bringing together some of the most prestigious scientists, dermatologists and rheumatologists with global reputation into Bath. The event is split into two days including plenary lectures, oral and poster presentations attended by clinical health care professionals and those from scientific/academic background.
Since 2017, Skin@Bath has brought together clinicians, scientists, pharmaceutical partners, and patients to advance innovative research in skin health. Led by Professor Charareh Pourzand at the University of Bath, in partnership with the Royal United Hospital and the Bath Institute for Rheumatic Diseases, we're tackling some of the most pressing challenges in dermatology - from chronic inflammatory conditions to skin cancer.
