Special Topic Introduction

The convergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Quantum Computing (QC) is opening unprecedented opportunities in computation, optimization, learning, and intelligent decision making. Quantum algorithms promise exponential speedups for certain tasks, while AI provides flexible and adaptive models capable of handling complex, high-dimensional data. Combining these two paradigms is expected to drive breakthroughs across domains such as materials science, drug discovery, finance, robotics, and autonomous systems. This Special Issue seeks high-quality contributions that advance theoretical foundations, algorithms, hardware implementations, and real-world applications at the intersection of AI and QC.

 

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

● Quantum machine learning methods for cognitive and decision-making tasks;

● Quantum-enhanced models for perception, reasoning, and planning;

● Hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for intelligent systems;
