Journal of Environmental Exposure Assessment Accepted for Inclusion in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)

The Editorial Office of Journal of Environmental Exposure Assessment (JEEA) is delighted to announce that as of April 25, 2025, JEEA has been selected for inclusion in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI, Web of Science), marking a major milestone for JEEA in 2025. Articles published from Volume 1, Issue 1 onward will now be fully indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection.

Journals indexed in the ESCI are chosen by Clarivate’s editorial team based on rigorous criteria, including high publishing standards, superior editorial quality, and citation performance within the Web of Science. Having passed this initial evaluation, ESCI-indexed journals are eligible for further consideration for inclusion in flagship indices such as the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE), Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI), and Arts & Humanities Citation Index (AHCI), each of which applies even more stringent selection criteria.
