On October 8, 2026, Stanford University and Elsevier jointly released the 2026 World's Top 2% Scientists list, which assesses researchers' impact in two categories: Career-long Impact, reflecting cumulative research impact, and Single-year Impact, highlighting academic achievements from the past year.
